The »Südwestfälische Galerie« provides an insight into the artistic work of local artists using four thematic strands: Sauerland landscapes, pictures of people. Artist trips and pictures from the world of life and work. The museum is the only institution in the Sauerland that deals specifically with the art of the home region and presents it as an important factor in the regional cultural history.
